While I am happy that some of my excess crafting materials can now be used as currency I am not thrilled about having to wait for a vendor to spawn so I can use those materials on the characters that have the professions that need those recipes. The randomization of (or lack thereof) of dailies has always been frustrating when you just need that one daily to show up to get your achievement/reward and now they are applying that method to a vendor? This brings me to wonder if you are able to visit a friend's garrison to interact with their daily vendor if you are unlucky getting the right vendor to spawn in your own garrison.
Thanks for the clarification--Alchemy seems to be an outlier based on how the other professions work, so I've added a note.
why do rpg mmo's never bring out a ton of new quests for anything but leveling?i would stay subbed longer if they added a ton of new quests every patch for after level cap instead of just a few boring grinds
I wonder if that Lil' Hogger plush was inspired by YouTuber 2DayWithPatrickJ who's been making Hogger and other WoW characters into puppets for years. In fact, he won the Blizzcon 2013 Movie Contest with his video "Raid Therapy".
The plushy is five bucks more than the Windraider / gryphon ones that came with in-game pets. The shipping on the plushy is going to be at least five bucks, so you should factor that in, too. no in-game Hogs, no deal. 35 bucks is like 4 Funko Pops.
Are those Primal Spirits gonna be going for 5 or for 50 reagents? (Text says 5, daily quest text says 50.)
Does anyone know if these random daily visitors have a level/garrison level requirement to appear? I.e. do they only appear if you're level 100 with a level 3 garrison? Also, anyone know if each player/character can potentially get a different visitor, and if so, could you just go to a friend's garrison if they got the visitor you want but you didn't that day?
@bruninmi: It looks to me like you're looking at two different trades in opposite directions; I think you can buy profession reagents for 5 Primal Spirits each, and you can also turn in X (e.g. 50 for hides/fur/dust) profession reagents for Y (read somewhere it was 15) Primal Spirits once a day.
As shown in the pictures, you can buy a Primal Spirit for 5 of a profession reagent--if that vendor is up.The linked quests let you trade in more reagents for ~25 Primal Spirits. This can only be completed once a day if the daily questgiver is up.
why did they not just add the new recipes to the profession huts? guess I can turn those extra books I made for skillups into crappy bags of gold, and try to remember not to make any more of them.
It's like very few people read the entire article before jumping down to comment. These are IN ADDITION to your standard recipe vendors at your garrison profession buildings.
I can't imagine this will hit live with the same system, due to math.Buy 50 Raw Beast Hide at 1 Primal Spirit per 5 Raw Beast Hide, total of 10 Primal Spirit required.Turn in those 50 Raw Beast Hide to get rewarded 15 Primal SpiritSo as long as you have 10 Primal Spirit on patch day, you essentially get 5 more for free, every day, with no downside. 20 every day if you can visit a friend's Garrison to do the other dailies that didn't spawn for you.Assuming you don't touch the initial 10 Primal Spirit, you could then convert 12 Primal Spirit into 60 Raw Beast Hide, and produce 60 Burnished Leather, in addition to Work Orders (12 per day with a follower) and the daily CD (10 per CD at 700 skill), resulting in a total of 82 Burnished Leather per day, and all it would cost you is the same 40 Raw Beast Hide you spend on daily CD and Work Orders right now.
