only the wow community could complain about something coming "too early" with no evidence despite it being essentially on the same schedule as every other expansion.....The best part is, there's no facts or objective material at all, so all people who just complain about wow as a hobby get a free pass to be miserable. Congrats I guess.
This chart is quite possibly the worst chart ever created. It literally has no day values for the cells. We literally have to guess what a length is in days.... are you serious? LMAOAnyway, no it isn't too soon. Betas for the last three expansions have all lasted 3-4 months. Stop crying, people would cry if the expansion is out in a year. Always complainers, just play the game and have your own opinion of it. You literally cant say it'll be a $%^& expansion by the time its out, you need to play the content and decide that way.
It's only early if you expect more stuff than what they've shown or told us about so far. But if we leave out the expansion defining features of the past and assume we'll have five zones, eight dungeons and a raid, and nothing much else, is it really early? If we're not getting new game modes like scenarios, expeditions or torghast, and not getting any garrison, order halls or convenant stuff, and not getting any borrowed power systems or even a mission table or a farm or anything? Just because we haven't been shown much doesn't mean there is more..
Lots of words when a three-letter answer is plenty. What the hell are the higher ups even thinking? I fully expect the isles to just be as big as Mechagon at best with how soon they're rushing it out.
wow players dont ever know what they want.
There wasn't a pandemic or the tumult and fallout of the harassment allegations; unionization and probably staffing issues. I think they're rushing it.
By that i can say Shadowlands 9.0 was too long and that skew everything... and for Dragonflight i think January 3 would be the best date if we want a season 4
i think they should delay it 5 years because somehow amount of time = better game. We know for a fact the tight schedule legion xpac was the worst xpac ever and wod was the best
This just reminds me that MoP patch cadence felt so very gooooood! 5.4 stuck around for a few months too long though.
No. They don't have any major systems to balance.
That gigantic line in Warlords and only 2 patches really shows that they cancelled a patch regardless of what Blizz says. Its plain as day.
We still need to test all the systems. Shadowlands had to test:
The only thing I can get from this graph is how Legion was the best expansion.
Yes, I think it feels too soon. The only thing that would get me to preorder/purchase this year is if they can give assurances that the devs aren’t being forced to crunch, and if they release some sort of road map that explains how many major patches are planned and which have raids, zones, and seasons.
