I didn't really get it. It seemed like it was trying to be an advertisement, a drama, a creepy piece, and a comedy all at the same time.

It's supposed to represent all the memories in life, that you can easily store on an SSD that isn't likely to be lost when it falls on the floor, or when your house burns down, etc.
that was a very good video
Presenting photos, or "memories" as personified beings is actually kinda creepy. And if you think about it, storing them is like imprisoning them. Older storage methods may decay over time, or are prone to outside force, like dropping on the ground, which means eventually, those memories can die and have peace. A solid-state drive, however, sounds like an eternal prison.
Aw that kid is adorable :D
So it breaks?
SSDs are much safer because no moving parts..a hard drive works by a needle hovering 9-10 nanometers over a platter. for reference, a piece of paper is about 50,000-150,000 nanometers thick.and this platter is spinning at 5400-7200 rotations per minute.if that needle touches the platter, game over, data lost, please step up and take your prize. SSDs dont have this, they are very much like a flash drive, or a memory card but faster and bigger. and cost more.
