"Maybe needed some raid too.You don't have any idea how this will be and still criticize it like hell."I think it's better to criticise now than be disappointed later. ;)
Can't believe some people are happy to play the followers facebook game again ...
and I thought they learned something off wod garrisons..on the class hall you will see people this time you wont be alone at all but it's not a better change since you still have to do this in order to progress on the expansion..
Feels like another forced version of the garrison missions
"You will continue to gain quests that give experience or items that aren't tied to your campaign, same as it was for the garrisons."Really sad reading that, I really want to get away from that aspect of the garrisons more than anything. Yes, no one's forcing anyone to do that, but if the rewards are too tempting or too good to pass up, we'll end up doing it and we'll end up logging in every few hours just to finish missions and send them onto new ones. It's the same reason those Facebook/phone games are so addictive.I genuinely hope I have the self-control to outright reject and ignore this aspect of Legion, but you just know they'll bake in stuff you have to do (just like with the Legendary Ring quest line). Fingers crossed the rewards aren't worth it this time.
I always see a lot of complaining about the garrison missions , but there is really nothing wrong with them. The problem with WoD was the utter lack of content and other systems in the garrison reducing the need to actually head out into the world. Followers are neat so long as you actually have something to do besides shuffling them around.
It SOUNDS like a great evolution of Garrisons to me. I don't mind if people consider it Garrison 2.0...the idea of Garrisons itself wasn't flawed. The fact we spent so much time there rather than out in the world (due to lack of world content) was the biggest problem. I actually don't mind the idea of missions...but they became old BECAUSE there wasn't really anything else to do. For Legion, it sounds much more interactive by sending you out to do things, and that there will overall be more content than WoD to keep us busy rather than sitting and doing missions.Rather than complaining, why not wait until trying it first...? It's hard to judge something so negatively based on some text and images. I will remain optimistic. If it's not fun, then oh well. I'll find something else to do. In the meantime, I look forward to testing it out myself and forming a solid opinion AFTER doing so.
i think i have to puke...
The waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahmbulance is on the way!
I hope class order missions giving gold at all is a placeholder itself. Unless Blizzard really didn't learn from the Garrison fiasco that destroyed the economy.Because letting people earn gold cap logging 10 minutes a day on their alts was a good idea.
this actually looks really fun, im certainly looking forward to it, like a normal person i will reserve any criticisms for once i've actually tried it ;)
April 1st was eight days ago. Can't wait to see the actual class hall stuff. This has to be a joke
The mission times seem to be about as long as shipyard missions and there also appears to be far fewer available than garrison missions. This means people will spend much less time at the class order mission table.
every day i read these comments im getting more and more sure that alpha, or even beta until a couple of weeks before release, shouldnt be disclosed to public.
I'm worrying that this seems to over-complicate some core things. I'm also a bit worried that you have to do some (significant?) amount of this stuff before you can even try an offspec. That seems like a *really* big mistake to make.I'm also hoping that when you do get the offspec artifacts, that it doesn't just award it from a garri--class hall mission, but lets you progress through the quests and scenarios for that artifact fully. If it doesn't, that will be horrid.
I really enjoyed the garrison and having followers to send on missions so I am glad they are bringing it to Legion! Excited to see how this works!
