Kinda unimpressed by this. Guild groups are Guild Challenges? Meh.I was expecting some kind of quest type option.
at least it's a new way to get experience and achivements
Looks like Blizzard noticed how much everyone loved the guild quests in Rift. :P
Well, I'm cool with this. My guild could use a boost leveling.
Awesome. Is there going to be any more?
Am I the only one who thinks these are kind of lame? I mean the XP bonus is great, but, I figured they'd you know.. be challenging and unique.
And they don't count towards the daily cap? Now the low pop guilds have a chance to catch up a bit.
I am guessing this will be the way small guilds will level up, since there are already guilds reaching level 25.I wonder how they will balance challenges so that they are interesting for max level guilds in the future... hmmm...
This is just the first form of Guild Challenges. I'm sure they'll make them more complex and such in time. It serves as an incentive to get guilds to do more stuff together, for now.
I love how the PvE ones give more xp than the PvP ones -_-
Lame. Rewarding people for what they're going to do anyway is pointless theater and currency inflation. I'd rather that this be scrapped.
Actually if you add up the totals for each for a week, the Rated Battlegrounds give more Guild XP per week than either of the two PvE challenges. Dungeons give 2.1 mil GXP, Raid gives 3 mil GXP, Rated Battlegrounds give 4.5 mil GXP. Yes I can see what you are saying, that overall PvP has less of a return, than the total PvE.
I think that this is a really cool idea blizz is doing, except one thing. What happens when the guild is at max level? will the guild exp reward be turned into something else?
this is gonna be a pain for my guild as we are a social group of friends who just play for fun with some raiding and such thrown in.... plus we dont have enough people to fill a raid group.... well we do, just not the right classes. A boost for XP would be helpful, but hey its blizzard and their half baked ideas!
