The Maw Walkers Covenant is here lol
Interesting. If the crash is the cause, this might mean it's handled client-side. Hackers could maybe replicate this by having the client send the "join this new covenant" instruction and blocking or disconnecting for the "leave my old covenant" instruction
New Mythic World First Strat - change covenant to have all 4! (sarcasm)
Rextroy is going to exploit this and get all 8 covenants abilities at the same time.
FIX THIS BLIZZARD
This is the way. This man made a ripcord and pulled it himself.

That actually brings a nice idea - let people choose second covenant in future updates and the resulted ability can be a mix of 2 abilities depending on what you chose. Like, Necro + Bastion = New ability with new animation.
Nothing surprising, i've never seen a WoW content so bugged, missing npcs&items, falling through floors, WQs just not possible to complete..What if expansion release was rushed and.. oh well !
Well this article sure came as a surprise. While I am glad about it because it implies that my issue is probably being taken seriously, I just want to clear out a few things. It is by no means intentional. This is the result of the game hard crashing on me seconds after I had turned in the quest to switch from Venthyr to Necrolord. It crashed right after the game prompted me that I was back in the Necrolord covenant. Upon relogging, I found myself effectively still in Venthyr (I can roam their sanctum, and participate in its progression), but with both Necrolord's abilities added on top of it. From what I can tell, it seems like the game didn't register that I turned in the quest (because I'm still Venthyr), but somehow still gave me the Necrolord's Fleshcraft and Abomination Limb. And the quest itself is not in my quest log anymore, thus resulting in me being in some sort of limbo state. As stated in the description of my video, I ain't enjoying this as I'm unable to progress in the covenant I would like to be a part of (Necrolord), and I probably won't be able to for as long as it doesn't get resolved. That's a big chunk of the game that I don't have access to. And aside from testing purposes in the video itself, I have been using Necrolord's abilities almost exclusively, in an attempt to reduce the chances I could get banned over this (I am after all participating in the game's content with the technical benefits of having two sets of covenant abilities). As of right now, it's still unresolved 3 days later. Hopefully, no one finds a way to replicate this and ultimately Blizzard ends up working out a permanent fix.
Is this... SL Beta? How such things 'pass to live'? Months on Beta and NO ONE had this bug? Must be another bug triggering it then. One more reason that they 'should' have sent more Beta access, to more people, or instruct those on Beta better on 'testing' stuff more, than 'playing' it.
A solid situation for reporting it and leaving it alone instead of streaming it and causing more attention than it needs to be.
