At first glance, this is pretty cool. Let's see how much staying power these dungeons have!
Seems promisingI wonder if there would be room for something like this in retail for the players who enjoy dungeons but aren't into m+
Dear Blizzard,Please don't make those stupid affixes be rotated on a weekly basis.I actually want to be playing the game every week.Instead, the deciding factor if I'll be playing this week will be which random crap affix won the lottery this time - making me not wanting to do dungeons at all for the whole week because of the annoying affixes. If you must put the affixes in place, then they should be permanent (and different) per instance or rotated on per season/per month basis.
Do we have any information on if these will be daily or weekly lockouts?
I hope I am wrong but I see this being a major pain when trying to put groups together, unless they add another queue for those looking for Titan Rune dungeons. I will have to sort through which people want to do normal heroics versus Titan Rune. I am on a high pop server (mankrik) and sometimes struggle with putting heroic groups together now. I feel like this will create emphasis on "whats your gearscore"? Will any one even want to do normal heroics? And if I am a new level 80 and want to run normal heroics will there be any one else there that wants to do them? I hope I am wrong but my personal opinion is this is going to be a mess.
If you thought pugging Halls of Reflection sucked the first time, boy do we have news for you!
Bah, the concept of "same content but harder" is one of the most boring gaming paradigms for meAnd when coupled with a catch up mechanism it is what made me quit Retail in the first place
100% HP and 30% dmg + effect is too much for Naxx 10 ilvl 200 loot, marginally better than heroic loot.
Interesting concept. Hopefully it'll keep 5man dungeons alive and relevant. I'm sure there will be kinks to work out. Wonder how they will handle later phases? Or if the loot will constantly roll down to smaller content per patch?
