Yep, literally impossible to do a soul ash mission as venthyr

The problem with "just grind a while" is that these missions expire and disappear, and the missions themselves take hours to complete, so there's a good chance that grinding will result in missing the chance completely until god only knows when.
Dreamweaver is trash for Night Fae though. Its health pool is so small that even attempting to put it in a Soul Ash mission kills it in the first two turns.
As Kyrian I usually use three Phalanx troops in the front row and it seems to work out. I have failed a few elite missions though.I haven't even seen a soul ash mission though.
The new 'tactical' mission table is a hot mess, and clunky with it. I've no idea what my chances of success are. If my team's 'attack power' (for lack of a better description) is 50% of that of the enemy, but I have over twice the health, will I win? Or to put it another way, if I have twice the attack power but half the health will I still win? How important is positioning?
Yeah... my level 22 troops getting decimated by a level 14 quests as Kyrian just feels bad. I really want to like these systems. But when things like this keep popping up to make you keep feeling like your chosen covenant is the wrong covenant, you really start to lose faith in these new systems. Sure, this one little thing is small... but when you start stacking the small things, they become big things.
leveled up all 4 champions to around 21 level, attempted 3x soul ash mission with full hp - yet every time the mission failed#cries_in_venthyr
Better nerf Necrolords. They are slightly good at something.
You need to read the mob abilities, the one with the dog that does 300+ dmg to your RANGED line - Don't put your tanks in the front line, set them into the back instead and have your dps in the front with a tankier dps taking some hits. His ability gets cast every couple of rounds, with your tanks at about 900+ hp it'll take 3 casts (about 9-12 rounds depending on the CD) for them to die and they can still dish out some dmg
I knew I wasn't crazy when my Necrolord alt had a better time with his missions than my Venthyr main. Even the very best possible combination with my highest level-champions is doomed to fail in Elite cases. Took one look at the Soul Ash mission (which also comes with a damage modifier through the weather) and I have no idea how to even attempt these.
As nightfae i must admit some missions are literally impossible aswell, i even have lvl 22 companions, yet some quests ennemies have SO MUCH hp and damage that it's even a question if i can do it or not, i try sometimes but i know that it'll fail no matter what.
It’s an interesting system but rushed and unbalanced. Notable issues are:* All covenants should have tank, healer and dps troops.* The cost for healing adventurers should be greatly reduced to at most a quarter of what it is now, ideally a tenth.* Troop levels should be determined by the level of adventurers on the actual mission you’re sending them on.* Adventurers marked as healers should actually have heal abilities.* The difficulty of elite missions should be reduced. You shouldn’t have to hugely out level them.* Soul Ash missions should stay on the board for longer so you can have time to level up your adventures enough and let them heal.* There should be a 4x and 8x replay option as watching them fight is kind of fun but not at the slow speed you’re limited to now.* Descriptions for rewards should be expanded so it is clear to players if a bonus xp mission gives that to all adventurers or is split between them.
Kyrian is horrible, period. Un-fun and messy. The elite missions are leagues harder than the level they indicate... because the Kyrian followers are just really, really bad.
Yeah the Venthyr ones are stupid hard i have 3 companions that are between lvl 22-19 and Theotar who is 12,i managed to finish only one Adventure Campaign Progress mission out of 3,i didnt even try to do more of them cause i was just wasting time. And why the hell did they think it would be a good idea to scale the lvl of the troops with the one of the companions, when i got Theotar he was lvl 1 and crushed my troops power into the ground
