not tryna be rude but looks the same to me. cant really see much of a difference.
Tronforge...
Unfortunately with the level of AI we're at, you get a lot of things that look extremely ugly like shading on the map, (what I believe are) the broken Isles, look at the letter O in Azeroth. The AI doesn't look like it knows how to handle the fur in the Dwarf's shoulders so each frame looks like it took a texture filter in photoshop and put it over it. I'm sure if it's possible, Blizzard would render the cinematics at a higher quality one day, but until then, these are good tests for new advances in AI learning technology.
From 480p~ to 4k, ok. Please enjoy the upscaling artifacts~~
I'm glad this is in 24 fps. The ones that crank the FPS always look uncanny to me, they just weren't made to run at those framerates
Pretty meh to be honest.
Not to make fun of people, but I wonder those who are saying "it looks no different", are viewing on 1080 screens, with tech that is more than a couple years old. This isn't meant for you.
The claim in the title is wrong - this is not re-mastered since that would require the poster to actually have the original source. This is just a basic ai-upscale.
Sharpness goes up clearly
I always enjoy watching the opening cinematics, but as I dont have a 4k screen I am forced to rely on the comments by those that do.It still gave me chills, I still loved it, but I am not able to watch it in the fashion the remastered author intended.
We want a total rework graphic with a new huge modern moto like Unreal Engine 5.0Not a old cinematic useless
Hey all! Thanks for the feedback! I've gone on and done the Burning Crusade and WotLK ones as well in the same fashion. Do please check those out (they look even better imo but I am biased haha)
"the power of AI upscaling" - I had to laugh. Upscaling is terrible and adds zero to the quality.
If you are into a more serious re-master WoW videos, go check this youtuber "IKedit"
Please don't say it adds zero to the quality, I've watched plenty of them it's definitely much clearer, it's just not perfect. Look at the videos from C&C Remaster, the different between old and upscaled videos is night and day even tho it's not perfect.
Blizzard themselves should have upgraded the cinematics for the Classic releases, but they probably don't still have the original assets at all.
