That dismounting talent seems kinda useless. With this huge map and flying I don't think it'd have any impact if there's any player in warmode.
Looks pretty interesting, if they were to allow dragonriding in future expansions would they expand the talents or would it only max out in the Dragon Isles?
I’m pretty sure they won’t allow you to use them after the expansion is done, or only in this continent, unless they let us to use them throughout the whole Azeroth .. this is an expansion specific feature like so many we had, which ended after the exp itself did so as well.
Still hope/wishing that dracthyr soar will be merged into dragon riding, and that they'll just make it available on old zones... Cause while these things look like a nice thing to ease it... It's making soar seem pointless.
There definately seems to be some PvP intent written into this. Knocking players of their mounts? Sheesh, most common death in DF will be fall damage.
Would it really be fun if you get dismounted by a random player who flies at 930% speed?
I have a feeling now that instead of borrowed power we now have talents lots of talents in every aspect. But from what i understand that dragon riding is account wide so that is positive at least. Would be a disaster to re-learn everything on a new alt.
You can easily get anywhere (right now, at least) with the default Dragonriding. These are all extra benefits; you do not lose out on anything by not getting these points. They are all very much appreciated benefits, but in no way are they mandatory. This is how an expansion feature should be, where it's perfectly fine out of the box. Takes some getting used to, but three vigor and the current regen rate of vigor is not bad at all.Of course, getting these glyphs is pretty easy. I didn't even know what the glyphs were, and I found five in the Waking Shore entirely by accident last test phase. Haven't seen any in the current test yet, but I'll be honest; I was not looking up at all. It's Spires of Arak 2.0, so there's plenty of awful terrain in the way to keep me looking forward and down.
Can we call this a tree? this is more of a totem pole. Not much choice.
The Lorewalkers like this, er and so do i.. kind ofi mean, this will be a speedrun to collect all runes instead of being tied to (map, not quest!) events iestill cool though ;p
