5 weeks into the game release and they are already skrewing people over!Why am I even surprised?
I sent two tickets to try to get a refund for this BS. After I got the generic response of "we can't refund items bought with virtual currency," I still complained that it was pretty scummy to give something in promotion a couple weeks after selling it on the premium store. The second GM basically told me "we never know what will be a promotion" and "we can't just delete an item and refund the currency because it would break your account to the point you couldn't play it." Ok, I agree deleting the item would likely screw up their spaghetti code. But to say you don't know what is going to be a promotion? From selling in the shop (in a new game, so a new bundle) to going free with a sub to Amazon Prime a mere couple weeks later? Not one single person in all of Blizzard has an inkling about what has been recently in the shop and what is in an upcoming promo? That's just purely idiotic if true. Whole situation is just a learning experience to drive home the message: Don't spend anything on Platinum, because they never know if a bundle there will be given out in a promo the next week.
