I like reading about WoW classic guides like these, but I haven't found myself playing the game as much as retail lately. Hopefully I can play some more classic in the near future.
Inc nerf to jump runs coming soon.
There was already a minor nerf to jump runs in Retail. If you try to do this in current Retail, escaping the zone through the tunnel behind the last boss doesn't work. That tunnel is blocked, so getting out and resetting is much more of a pain.
Hi, Perculia very curious how much do you earn for offering people to go to farm for Dm-what profit?
If they didn't think it was okay to skip Pusillin they wouldn't make it so easy to do.
its a mistake to skip as much trash as possible because you will hit the instance limit.incorporate the packs of satyrs with imps, this will give your group runes and felcloth to add to your farm.
There is a Dusty Tome spawn next to Lethendris. Only need to kill 1 pack after Hydrospawn and you get to her easily. Channeling rod vendors for 5.6 gold and wand for 3. Certainly comparable to Zevrim.
Should mention that the class books and foror's can drop from the bosses in DM East also. Last night we had foror's drop from Zevrim Thornhoof. Our priest got class book from hydrospawn. It takes around 8minutes to do the run, so you might hit the instance lockout timer.
You could certainly make some improvements to this path. For instance, if you jump down at the corner towards the door leading to the last boss and then cut across to the wall opposite to the one you start with in the guide, you'll find that there's usually 2-3 herbs and sometimes a dusty tome under some of the roots as you make your way towards Hydrospawn. Just make sure to avoid the patrolling treants and the pods on the ground. If nothing else, it'd be worth splitting up on the way back and have someone check on the tome and herbs there while talking to the tree.
one of the fun things about wow has always been "discovering" things. whether that be on some hidden fan club in the back of the internet, just running across a random pug that you learn about a "backdoor" from, or just running with some friends and bumping into it on your own. those who knew, knew and those that didn't, didn't. what's really disheartening and really ruining the discovery aspect of it is wowhead plastering everything on the front page of the internet. yep, i can just not read it, but the problem is nearly everyone reads wowhead and when i get ingame, and instead of getting a group that actually wants to run the instance, i get "jump groups" and "skipcraft" groups that just run to the end. its honestly really getting on my nerves and this is really the icing on the cake.
This is a great idea for a Classic article, learning the meta is very helpful.
