This post is like that uncle who's accepted at family gatherings just because he's part of it, but no one really likes him and everyone just wishes he'd be gone already.
Probably an unpopular opinion, but I'll be a little sad to see corruptions go. Definitely one of the more interactive systems implemented recently, making you choose what level of corruption you were willing to take and budget your powers around that limit. Sure it was annoying having to rely on random drops at first, but once they let you buy corruptions off mother, it was a lot better, even with the weekly rotations. Even upgrading your cloak wasn't too too bad; I love running visions and loved pushing to add more masks. All in all, a cool little risk/reward balancing system that let you choose your own fate, sacrificing sanity for power, and an ambitious departure from other systems in this game that just straight up give you more power with no drawbacks.
Does anyone even care about these anymore? I mean... they're gonna be worthless in like 1-2 weeks, at most.
Im wandering why they are not giving us for free the cap at rank 15 and the essences which you have unlocked... Makes no sense at this pointSame with the Neck at lvl 80

oh completely agree on that front, made a total mockery of pvp and destroyed class balance. They made way too big an impact on damage to the point of being pretty much the only thing that mattered and it was all based on RNG. I look at corruptions as the WoD of systems: messy, confusing, frustrating and, poorly implemented. Hope to see the devs take in all the feedback and try to turn it around in the future to make something more Legion-esque (figuratively speaking), but who knows what the odds of that happening are...
im a casual player. is a 15 key considered an easier dungeon in your opinion?my guild is full mythic clear i just had personal life @#$% get in the way of being a reliable raider so dropped out corruption has worked really well for us in the sense that it allowed the people who were into class fantasy sorta stuff and werent interested in changing specs to stay competitive. in our guild now i think the only ones running direct damage corruptions are the DH's cause their APM means they just get way more procsare you refering to the pay2win situation that occured at the start of the tier?
Last week and then we can say bye bye to bfa
Never lose faith, maybe they are on the day before pre-patch all at once on sale!
At this point I'd say, Blizzard, FFA: put them all on sale for 10% of the cost. Let players experiment in the last few weeks with Corruptions they couldn't (or didn't want to) try before. I'm going to optimize my farming Havoc still slightly more by buying two Expedient 2 (I went 2x Lash and 7x IT1 but IT above 90% is relatively pointless) and whatever 1s I can get after that, and I'd still say 29th it's goodbye Corruption.
