What Mists actually needs is a nerf to the HP of the first boss.It's ridiculous it takes 4+ minutes on Tyrannical to do on high keys.
Considering they're only present during the very start of the dungeon and that most people skip a few pulls before the first boss, I don't think it's going to have nearly the same impact as the Plagueborers, but let's see what crazy strat someone might pull during MDI or TGP.
Honestly, this sounds like it would make me even less likely to pull this mob.
The whole point of them being there is they were meant to be used with the first boss and adds, there are at least 4-6 packs of them around but since skipping 3rd pack is always the play. Paired with them jumping everyone, and the distance it takes to bring them to the boss. No one uses them like that. If people did, the boss would melt. As is, they have to either remove third pack or unlink them from the other packs.
I think Mists needs like another 2 minutes to the timer. It's probably one of the hardest keys to time unless you're pulling extra trash through walls on high keys.
I honestly never knew they did that, didn't pay attention to it honestly. As I skip them now when I tank, yet I mean I don't think this will make the first skip not worth doing anymore. Honestly and truly the DoT is the main reason why groups don't mess with them, along with the other packs they exist in just are never pulled. So it's pointless to even change them as their intended use seems to be more geared towards the boss. In all honesty they need to for a health nerf to the first boss, as on tyrannical that boss takes far too long to die, and if the intended design is to use the adds to debuff the boss to further amp up the burn. No one's gonna do it unless they add a pack somewhere nearby where their unlinked to other trash. Along with being closer to the boss to make it actually worth while to kill them on top of the boss.
now do something about the slimes after 1 boss on PF the dot does too much damage and last too much even worse with low interrupt comp

I actively pull these mobs, have done 22s-25s for some keys including this one, and I still had absolutely no idea that this on-death effect actually did something to the other mobs because of how worthless that 50% damage buff would be to a DPS that would get channeled into and promptly globalled by the tree boi.That tree boi pack as a whole is a MASSIVE pain in the backside so most groups skip it in high keys; maybe this'll make that pack less toxic, but I'm not so sure.
No, they did it because you could abuse the plagueborers to let them be infinitely in the dungeons and snapped to you everywhere.
