I just hope the "queens gift" that was datamined is what ends up being planted at the location of the sword .. Plus the whole forsaken and nelfs home needs rebuilding better sooner then later. And with calia in the pic at least I see them doing something with lodreron at least. The nelfs path is still undetermined.
Tbh the forsaken are in the worst possible state after bfa and sl. I mean, check the rest. Sylvanas? Blizzard has somewhat and somehow rescued her and she will eventually come back, but it's unlikely she will return to her former place. The night elves? New tree coming and tyrande is with them again, they just need to stop being killed (easy to write, hard to do in their case because blizzard). The forsaken have no place to live nor leader and the only candidates are a newcomer (lilian) and not only a newcomer but someone who is entirely opposite to the forsaken's identity (calia). Idk how in hell will she lead any grudge against the alliance being 100% one of them. Also i believe the royal apothecary's society makes no sense with her in charge, she would disapprove everything they do.If i had to choose, i would rather a council, with belmont, faol and a third voice for the apothecaries, but since that's not gonna happen, let just hope there is more than one golden claiming a vacant throne, so we have to deal with all of them properly. It would not be the first time a prophecy is fulfilled more than once.
WoW, the amount of people skipping the lore is abismal. Lilian Voss DOESN'T WANT TO LEAD, PERIOD. If you people paid attention to Legion+ lore, she didn't feel like the role fit her, in the bigger scheme of things. She hated what she became, then embraced it but not to the point of stepping out to lead, and there are/were many other characters that would fit it, apart from Sylvanas and Calia. Calia is the 'more fitting' one, and makes more sense, because most of the Forsaken, are from Lordaeron, her HOME, and she was their princess. It is a thing that Blizz would trample their own lore (they're the game's creator) but players?LOL
If she becomes the leader of the forsaken my forsaken is gonna call it quits.
Ugh, why? Calia becoming a "Lightforged" undead was one of the most idiotic decisions the writers have made in this game, and that's saying a lot. Aren't the Light and undeath supposed to be like oil and water? Hasn't that been established canon since forever? Funny how the Light and undeath are incompatible until it's convenient. My Forsaken for sure aren't interested in having this glowing Mary Sue as their queen if that's what we're angling for.
can't wait to see what happens next. :)
It is long overdue. The Forsaken have been without a clear leader since 2019. Often the only times Forsaken get content updates is to make them villain arches for the Alliance to great to. It would be nice to see some long overdue substance. For crying out loud the Forsaken still use the Dark Lady as their faction logo. Their story has moved on, we can only hope that this new chapter does the Forsaken justice. I am hoping to see the Lordaeron story touched upon, as many seem to forget the Lordaeron Forsaken connection.
Even if people dont want her. As of right now she is the last undead to have been risen. Cause if you recall Sylvanas Val'kyr used to raise new undead and well they stopped for a while now and they got killed in 9.1 so Blizz kinda need an alternative to make the race viable via new character creation
Calia and Lillian will be co-leaders of the Forsaken/Undead Lordearonians moving forward so Forsaken will be a neutral race...One step closer to dissolving the lines between Alliance and Horde thus removing the factions altogether.
Make her a dungeon/raid boss so we can get her outfit and they can do whatever the heck they want with her.
I'll be really pissed off if she ends up the leader of the Forsaken. At least I will be if I ever come back *shrug*
Well she died, right? and Pelagos is actually a chick, right? What if she's Pelagos.
