Best xpac ever!
I am so fond of Northrend some of my most favourite areas ever are from this continent. I never quite enjoyed so much other regions up until zandalar in BfA . I always felt Pandaria was somewhat huge but empty , draenor too , legion, i loved Suramar but the other regions felt so disconnected from each other.Northrend had an amazing cohesion region wise. The further north you went you started watching ice. It's amazing how they managed to make 4-5 snow covered regiona feel different even though they had the same environmental type. Howling fjord was the best introduction to this amazing journey , especially alliance side that boat ride under the burning ship... And as you slowly started scaling up and the snowy weather was intensifying. Crystalsong forest and the nexus were some of the most visually stunning areas back then, too bad the first couldn't be utilised more due to Dalaran's presence. Storm Peaks was also a zone that perfectly coexisted with flying, those mechanical caves with the side entrances were really something , the high peaks reached with the mount. Grizzly hills was another favorite zone for me and post cataclysm a beautiful reminder of arugal's compelling story from the original silverpine.
What is with these masturbatory interviews? Are they patting themselves on the back for recycling old content by releasing a classic edition of a game they already made? or is this the new team talking about all the hard work and love and care they put into a product that ... someone else already made ... calm down. Damn.
Can't wait, retail is so dogsht at the moment ...
cool.
