Nice variety of stats, oh wait
so we will have more expensive boe than before... cause everyone want them before they kill the tier set bosses, to be able to trade the set pieces... gg blizzard
More like "here is the upcoming BOE market"
Was the main problem with these %^&*ty tier sets and the main reason that they are deleted. You asked for a %^&* thing to be back, you got it. :]
Literally why. For the love of god stop fueling the need for guilds to spend gold on this crap which then spurns them to do sales to get out of debt. And stop doing this so people will feel compelled to splurge on tokens for gold. Next to no one wants this sort of crap in the game, except for the those with 10+ alts killing stuff in heroic/mythic up to desired trash farm areas.
I don't get why people are up in arms over the template stats. The stats don't matter. It's BoEs on Tier Slots, meaning that after WF Raiders said they'd love to loose the necessity for BoE's, Blizzard went and made something that literally makes BoEs as essential to snipe for millions and millions worth of boosting gold as it was during the Corruption days. Because it enables you to trade Tier before it even drops. :)
A subscription is not a god given right.
looks like this dev team can't come with a feature without being it extremly criticized by the community. Hard times for wow fans...How long until we get a new captain on board?
The main take away problem is the fact that these will sell for a ton of gold, especially the mythic ones when the tier starts. As they will provide a HUGE advantage to world first raiders, as it will mean slots will be open for stacked runs just so they can trade tier set items. In which they can stack their key players early on with tier sets. Then of course when the race is over the market will drop sharply off, and mean their pretty much be worthless other than pieces for mog purposes or for those making alts that have a lot of coin. I think at this point people are in general pissy with blizzard, as there have been a series of additions to the PTR that just will not work well at all. In that it will cause more and more issues down the line, and as usual blizzard failing to see past the tip of their nose on how these systems will affect players as the patch drives on in the months its active. I don't blame people for becoming upset at all, blizzard has for the past few years now driven the player base to be on a hairline trigger due to all the things they've done. In which people have begun to leave, and the game is in a serious death spiral right now. In that there doesn't seem to be a point to where their going to pull out of it, and instead are embracing it even more. Which will eventually mean the game will come crashing down, and will result in WoW literally killing WoW after all these years.
This is good, even better than 9.1 boes. In 9.1 only 1 slot was shared with dom sockets and boes should never be bis. Also only 2 per armor type is ideal amount, not too many but boes should exist.
The article writer confused 'intermediate piece' with 'WF goldsink'. If this stays as is, of course its intent is to gold sink on these to trade tier pieces. Which is obviously Blizzard back at where they used to be, caring only about revenue and the WF race that comes with it. If they want to make a statement to change, trash drops should be BoP-tradable like regular boss loot.EDIT: I should add I'm normally not as critical of design choices, but this one ticks me off as it's almost too obvious and we take it like it's nothing.
loud noises
I don't get the hate for BoE trash pieces all of a sudden. It's been in game for a long time now, and has never really been considered something bad. If anything, it makes clearing trash groups more exciting as you may be lucky enough to have one of these drop for some easy gold. The article even says that most of them share a spot with the tier pieces, so they won't become a BiS for anyone, and is just a nice placeholder upgrade until you get your tier piece to replace it with.
it's just ptr copium
