first second: flying! yes!second: timegated, naaaah
Since so many cool and core aspects of 9.2 are tied directly to the Cypher system, its looking like its going to "make or break" the patch. This PTR cycle, and their sensitivity to feedback about this critical system, should be very interesting to keep an eye on.
Well it's better than not having it all I supposeaka, Timeless Isle, Argus, KorthiaArgus was HORRIBLE to get around, and Korthia is worse. I avoid that zone as much as I can, which I don't think was blizzards intent
This is great news. And I agree, I want flying in the maw and Korthia too. Yes of course they'll be obsolete content, but there are tons of collectibles, mounts, etc, from there.
No issues with flight being locked behind the new system only because holy hell, we're getting flight in the new area
I like how the zone looks, and I can understand the timegating too with flying. People skip a lot of the zone, not looking around if flying is instant. The rpg element is fully missing like that. But who am I kidding, only complaining is acceptable nowadays.
I can't wait until Shadowlands is over.
Woohoo! So glad this is the case. Now do Korthia and the Maw!
All you people crying are why we have a !@#$y game today we didn't have as many snow flakes back when the game came out and blizzard said f your feelings I wish they would go back to that
Can we still get refunds for Shadowlands, being that it isnt fit for purpose
They never listen. And people still pay.
D
Looking at the declining player count, players aren't silently enjoying content; they're quitting the game.
I really like when they time gate flight. I enjoy the time to explore the land from the ground, but after 2-8 weeks let me fly freely. I really wish flight was available in Korthia and the Maw now. Could have been a reward from Archivist T6
A while back someone at Blizzard finally figured out that getting a 1% increase crit chance in a talent tree wasn't interesting. Someone else needs to figure out that progressing one inch a day (max) along a progression path designed to last until the virtual day the next patch is released isn't interesting either.
RE: “they never learn!” Maybe they learned from Korthia by adding it in to be able to fly? It’s gated but we don’t know how far. There is value in making sure we explore the new zone.
