This is a great Q&A!
Lol they onesotting everything with fire mages at 3k mmr. They happy .
Really surprised they didn't touch on ilvl scaling in PvP. 3k rated players wearing low level whites alongside 385 azerite pieces and trinkets to give them an average ilvl of ~180 so that their azerite pieces scale to do ridiculous damage.
read the first question where they say they prefer PVE gear in PVP and i already know not to read the rest. the only people who are happy about the removal of the templates are people who want an advantage over other players instead of figthing on equal ground. you que up as someone who doesnt pve and pvps casually and your around 110-120k health fighting people with 150-160k health. gaps too big to easily overcome with skill. im not saying im good im just saying as a casual wow player who only does the pvp side of things its a bad change. Like when i lose to you i wanna lose because you outplayed me or rock paper scissored my combo not because you do mythic+ and raids weekly.
Well if you look at most spells they do percentage of HP damage (in pvp), which therefore makes 120k hp versus 150k hp much less significant.
this is new to me could you explain more?
Awful responses, like the state of PvP in general.
Nerf Mages please Blizzard!
Was really disappointed to find that there were only 3 questions that weren't very deep and had incredibly short and shallow responses =( No where near the quality of the class q/a or state of x posts you guys have been doing where theorycrafters are writing detailed paragraphs =/
I anserwer:@ziqo and @xariu do you speak of balancing classes? you gave answers that are 80% useless. If you want the balanced classes blizzard must:▪eliminate all mobility or if it is difficult for the lady blizzard to reduce it to 90%▪eliminate all the off healing of the dps▪reduce by 80% instant spell damage and give the right damage to the casting spells.▪all mele have 3 to 4 spells of damage rudiment, this is not normal to reduce to 1 only ! as it once was▪reduce the dps of the healers by 90%. (it's funny to see healers who are almost the dps of a dps)▪increase the spell's mana cost for all casers, maybe 40% and triple the cost of the healer's attack spel.▪change these talents by auitsm and put the tree talents back as you once didif the blizzard does this the game will start to be called world of warcraft, because this wow is just the bad copy of the original.
Bring back PvP vendors like how it was in WOD. I love the idea of PvP gear scaling higher in BG's and such. Right now, it seems like there's no point to doing PvP unless you're higher rated. I don't get anything out of doing BG's and I'm not working towards anything. Sure, I get the weekly conquest reward, but that is capped at 1 per week. I want to be able to pick and choose how often I get rewards based on my own play time. PvP gear is a joke now that it is easily overshadowed by doing PvE. Some of us don't really like to PvE and prefer to just PvP. The option to do one or the other in WOD was great, and that's saying something for an expansion that was universally panned.
This was a terrible Q&A! Only 3 questions and not much on the replies. I do agree though that vendors need to come back. It's stupid these raiders coming into unranked BG's in their 380-400 gear and there's not a lot us people sitting at 355 (who JUST pvp!) can do against them!
My main issue with PVE gearing useful in PVP, is that PVP gear took a nose dive in quality compared to PVE gear in Legion.Reduced chances for legendary drops, garbage stat stick trinkets, no PURCHASABLE accessories with our PVP currency that expansion.... You got one chance to roll for a decent piece of gear every week if your weekly reward didn't give you anything. But yet you could go do raids and have a multitude of chances at fantastic gear - oh, it didn't drop? That's ok, you can bank half a dozen seals and roll them away to try for specific, high tier pieces gear. One boss hasn't nothing you want? No worries - kill the one with that OP trinket or set bonus piece you want and get two shots at it every week. Didn't go your way in mythic? Go do heroic. No? Try normal. The stats may not be as good, but it's ok - PVP gear is generall Normal quality or worse most of the time. And hey, set bonuses work regardless of iLVL...Meanwhile the guild I'm in is PVP only. RBGs, Arenas, etc. There was no raiding - we were fighting players no scripted muppets. But oh how great it is to go out in the world and get one shot for 3x your health - as a tank - by some turd who got themselves some raid trinkets and the right legendary.Yeah, stuff like Dreadlords Deceit was totally fine in WPVP - thank god they disabled all that crap in instanced PVP.If they don't put PVP gear on par with PVE gear - PVE gear can stay the heck out of PVP. "Oh just do both" Yes, I'll be sure to tell my boss they need to pay me for work I'm not doing while I do rated PVP and raiding on various days of the week. I'm 32 years old, I'm not in highschool or college. I have bills and a mortgage to pay, mouths to feed. I want to come home on the weekends, log on and rip some horde apart - not pay guild pyshcologist to a gaggle of keyboard turning ninnies who think meters are more important than watching for mechanics. 13 years off and on I've been playing this game, and we finally saw some of the biggest changes to PVP recently... and they're recanting on those changes now.Yes I raided, no I don't want to anymore. I want the WAR part of Warcraft, I want someone on the other end to know victory or defeat, not some script going "beep boop health = zero, dispense loot"Whole reason I left the games I'd left WoW for, is because they can't do MMO PVP worth a dang. This is about as good as it gets, without going for a non-MMO. Even discounting WoW being an MMO, it's still pretty up there when it comes to PVP on a competitive level.
