good information, thank you wowhead and Squishei
No more of job to raid than farm same Pvp zones que after que to gain honor for gear. PVE players raids for the same reason improve your gear and set your expectations. Spending 5 days a week in raids isn't for everyone . We run a couple progression nights 1 fun night to keep the game fun yet end up at mythic raiding . The bonus WoW has always offered is do as much as you want pvp or pve or a combination of both.. cramping on PVE or PVP solves nothing .. just play "your" game and enjoy the new content ..not a a difficult task đŸ˜‰
There's a fine line between always having something optional you want to do, and having it feel like there's a long list of stuff you're supposed to do at peril of getting left behind. Just going by the write up above this feels too much like the latter.Of course the in-game reality may be different and that's what I'm hoping for.
Anything you can do before you're 120, aka while leveling up?
So expeditions are max level content?
I've only been getting 150ap for first random daily heroic since yesterday.Think they nerfed it.
My approach as a 'casual' (we raid Norm/Heroic one night a week) is to just wing it. No point in stressing over gearing up, no need to do the tedious WQs that don't offer gear and take 20 minutes to get to, no need to farm reps (the rewards are minimal at best), no need to farm AP and no need to continuously run bad or boring content like the Expeditions and most of the new dungeons. Half our guild isn't even 115 yet, so it seems futile to put in this much effort for a raid that we won't see for another month.
Nothing like farming trash to get more trash so you can farm more trash. This expansion has barely started and its endgame already looks abysmal.
