Why does pissed Uther sound so much like the Lich King?
Honestly the biggest thing I am curious about at this point is how the Nathrezim/Kil'Jaeden/Sargeras/Burning Legion tie with the Jailer and the Maw, seeing as how they still presumably created/commissioned the Helm and Frostmourne.
Nice, can’t wait to put Uther down when he’s a raid boss.
yup
anyone else thrilled to find the six (plottwist: seven, because playerchar has to die again too!) horcru... i mean phylacteries of the jailer (or whoever turns out to be the real slim shadymort), before we can destroy him? :)nah, just kidding... this is gonna be great, i love this expac already
Sooo we're just gonna forget that Uther's soul was trapped in Frostmourne the entire time between his death and Arthas' death in ICC? How would the Kyrians get his soul when it was locked away, like every other soul was that Arthas killed?
That was Vengeance and not Justice, a far cry from everything that was of Uther's character. It's a shame they destroyed a good character by taking away their biggest personality trait and turning them into nothing more but an eye for an eye villain.
Well on the way to proving Sylvanas as "good guy" status. She recognized that the LK existing fundamentally breaks the Shadowlands and is fixing the same issue raised here to the Archeon.
I was confused over how Uther could be in Bastion even though we saw his soul being devoured by Frostmourne, but I think the Light did save his soul... sort of. I think Uther's soul split in the moment he died, the Light preserving some of it and sending it away while the rest went into Frostmourne, probably explain why we see Uther in ICC, which means there are now two Uthers, the one in Bastion representing his devotion to justice, and the one devoured representing his more forgiving side.It might lead to a story where in order for Uther to properly ascend, he'd have to connect with the other half of his soul, and probably recover Arthas from the Maw.Edit: UrAgahn beat me to it.
