You brother and your family are in my prayers, whether that means much to you or not. And I hope the fundraising goes well.
I work with someone who got this. He got a surgery to remove some of his intestine.
I hope you can raise a lot of money for this cause, and I pray for your brother's health.
I wish I could contribute; but I am very unfortunately skint. I wish you and your brother the best...I never realised he suffered from any illness, but I really do hope that you do manage to raise the awareness of the illness (I was unaware until this post, in all honesty, so at least some awareness has already been achieved) and the funds required for research. All the best.

I have Crohn's, too. Luckily I haven't needed any resections (just the initial surgery to remove an abscess when I was diagnosed two years ago). Give your brother my wishes and I hope a lot is made for the cause.
I have Crohn's, had two surgeries also, and highly recommend Remicade (if he has coverage, I'm Canadian). It's made a huge difference in my life and ability to live a fairly normal life. The patent on it should be running out soon, so should be getting cheaper (maybe not in the USA).
Here's the best from me to you and your brother from the northern Denmark, I have no experience with the disease, but it's seems like a horrible one.I do know how it is to have a close family member with an uncureable disease (Cancer took my littlebrother at the age of 10) So i dearly hope you will get a lot of donationsUnfortunately I'm no more than a colledge student at this point, and I don't even own a credit card legit outside Denmark, so unfortunately there's no way for me to make a donation. Still, best of luck to you and your brother
Oh man, one of my best friend's sisters has Crohn's...that sucks. =\ I may contribute if I can, and either way, good luck...Also, I had no idea SB was your bro.Is there at least a treatment?
Another Crohn's sufferer here, though definitely one of the luckier ones as I've been able to control it with medication. But I certainly know how scary it can be, particularly as it took years for me to find a doctor to diagnose it back in the early 90's. My heart goes out to your brother and I'll definitely be chipping in on his behalf.
My mother suffers from Crohn's, so I can sympathize with this.Best wishes to you and your family, Malgayne. If I have the money to spare, I'll definitely donate. :D
I donated $10, that's as much as I could. Hope it helps. :)

I have been living with Chron's now for about 14 years. I had a Subtotal Colectomy, but thats it so far. I hope you brother is like me and able to keep from getting any more surgeries, and my thoughts are with you guys.
I have to admit - our family's been donating to Crohns and Colitis foundations for a while due to health problems in members of my family. It's something that doesn't have the glamour of breast cancer or MS, but it can be equally debilitating and just as hard for the people who suffer from it. Even worse at such a young age.All the best to you and your family. Your brother is very lucky to have such good support.
