So a bunch of Blizzard *employees* can't behave appropriately, so the players get "rewarded" with a mass-report tool that's clearly open to abuse?
a multi boxer mass reported me because he was an absolute idiot. lagged out BG server with his 36 druids spamming aoe. I dare said something about it and he reported me... i was kicked out of BG instantly etc. I then reported him for abusing this &*!@ system. I never know if he actually got a punishment because of that or not. It just feels terrible to not know something like that. At least these kind of MB are not allowed anymore, better late than never, I guess. Also this new report option is kinda 10+ years too late. But better than never.
Good changes
there are more than a hundred ways to insult people witouth using bad words. Bad words are for children, adult people use concepts, metaphors, and sugestions between lines to say you are stupid or something. The most thing i´m reading, im getting tilted, asuming is the team fault not them, this is an insult, and perturbs the completition of the mythic, degrading the key and giving you bad reputation because of the score, when wasn´t your fault of theirs. If somebody have a bad day they can press people, telling stuff like they are the worst players in the world, despite it sounds a simple insult, indeed there´s some pasive agressive attitude that affects psycologically to others, and their interest, not only in the game, also in doing mythic or PVPAlso i understand the part of leave the group you say, that´s should be solved like in expeditions, 30 minutes of penalitation, but, people can sue you even you weren´t the problem, and need judges to understand the real gravity of the playgame. So another thing are micro psycological agressions, some of them so sutile nobody thinks are being insulted, but indeed exists. In this game they play adult people, and they have knowledge to humilliate you at the point to get depressed in a way they can go clean. Indeed yesterday i commit suicide because i was bullied on the forum around like 100 racists, couldn´t flag all of them and they should be banned, i failed, but things are more worse than you think. They pressured me at the point to commit suicide. There are some things, that Blizzard is not taking care, mental health of the people. Is ok if you rage for yourself out of the micro, but when you tell other people that they are *!@# and he´s AWESOME. Like the things i read in wow forums, is like should be better to close the forum forever, yesterday i declared publicly what happened and how the racists (because i was talking of this stuff) they blamed me saying that because im offended because they insulted my genealogy and im mad for that, im the bad guy. So one problem of this $%^& is they will have all control over chats, and not talking, banning bad attitudes related sexual interest, xenophobia, racism, egocentrism and narcisism, etc. They need psychologyst and physiquiatrist to be in the middle to revise the personality of everyone because most of them have mental problems and don´t want to solve so they flame others just because they have fun, and since the wow forum is a pit of trolls, it should be a good cleaning. Because the forum still is a part of the game. Not only whispers and comments in group etc. Its more complicated than that, and i understand they cannnot control everyone, but instead like South park said, there are some people with no real life, so there is a big problem cause they have NO idea on how to play with others, respecting, even apologizing or giving merits. They have mostly social problems and it´s a part not only blizzard can change, this is a huge problem that trascends gobernments-
Nice to see some form of online accountability, even if it's simply characters. It's something, and definitely a step in the right direction to weeding out the bad seeds.
It is about time Blizzard stepped into the 2020s cancel culture. It's long overdue that our fantasy games have been spared for far too long avoiding the game within the game to play who can silence whom especially those that talk despairingly against the small vocal narrative.
