Spellbreaker? Yes~
That can't be the heritage armor. I'd say those look good for leveling greens but if this is the quality the base races get compared to the allied race heritage armor then Activision-Blizzard has seriously dropped the ball for the once again this expansion and frankly its well past the point of being tiresome.
Regarding Kael's "new" model, it's worth noting that it uses the same textures as the old BE guard model. So the new BE guard robe could also be a component of a new Kael model, or just an NPC outfit using the BE model with the Kael-style hair.
its too basic cant be.
I really hope this is it, with other Mesh details in the character, would look sweet. But maybe its something even better!
it looks like generic questing gear.... pretty bland and disappointing.
HELMETS WITH EAR HOLES FOR BLOOD ELVES.BLIZZARD. PLEASE. WE NEED THIS.PLAYERS NEED THIS.
While I am still hoping that the Blood Elf Heritage Armor takes inspiration from the appearance of the Belf in the TBC cinematic (because I like the outfit, I want it to be in the game, and I want to dress a Female Belf in it), if it turns out that instead of that, I can transmog my Lock into a Spellbreaker, I could live with that. Although, the Heritage Armor we've seen thus far is more about the race as a whole, and Spellbreakers are simply an elite, magic-fighting soldier, not exactly something that covers the entire race. I would liken it to basing the Heritage Armor off of the Rangers' attire (which would be more fitting that Spellbreakers). Meanwhile, the robes worn by the Belf in the cinematic could possibly be something that more widespread amongst the Blood Elves as common attire, whether formal or casual.Either way, we will hopefully be seeing this armor on the SIlvermoon Guards, and hopefully see Quel'thalas being updated.
Maybe its just me but the red feels just a tad too dark. Like, it does not pop as much as current spell breaker/guard armor does.Maybe its just me but it could honestly benefit from being a few shades lighter.EDIT: Shield also seems way too small in the example images.
I either hope it's either : not the heritage armor at all, or we get a pimped-up version of this as the heritage armor. Looks very plain as it is.
Burning Crusade was merely a set back!
This is cool, but I also hope for something flashier for heritage armor.
Oh my god it's amazing. This is exactly what I was hoping for. It looks so good. No extraneous nonsense, no huge ridiculous pieces of ugh, it's just so wonderful. I hope this is it so much or it's available if not. I can't wait to wear this on all my blood elves. I'm so excited for this. Please Blizzard please.
Yes... YES! Finally, some real Blood Elf gear!
How weird is it that during the scenario to unlock blood elf heritage armor not a single blood elf will even appear? You know, since blood elves did not exist yet during the fall of Silvermoon.So... high elves confirmed?...That was a joke.
My main character's RP backstory has him as a Spellbreaker, and I'd love to be able to have some Silvermoon Guard armor for Trial of Style or a Paladin alt. Those swords would be cool for a Demon Hunter, too.My question is, will I be able to collect heritage armor as a Death Knight or Demon Hunter? And why does Kael have the Blood Elf palette in a pre-Blood Elf scenario?
