I think that being able to transmog certain holiday items only during the actual holidays themselves is kinda neat. Lets you get into the spirit of the season and look goofy for a while.Dunno how I feel about the crafted legendaries. The fact that they're BOP makes it so that you can only use them if you have a crafting prof that matches your armor type. And if the perks are good, people will feel obligated to switch if they don't. Or they could make them BOE, but then you'd get complaints about "oh now we can just buy legendaries, worst game ever." Then again, they'll probably just be utility legendaries considering there seems to be only one for each armor type.Until we see the procs, I won't make a call one way or the other.
I hope / guess, us Jewelcrafters will get a legendary Necklace. Hopefully with more powerful abilities than the class Necklaces we already have.
Good idea the crafted legendary items. Answers what a lot of players have been asking for... Targeted ones. It might help stop some of the forum posts like I can't get into a top 100 guild cos RNG hates me!It also makes the crafting more useful again.
They need a LOT more vanity items that you can transmorg. That is one thing that I loved about FF14 with so many different type of clothes that you can collect and trasmorg from suites and ties to girls in different type of bikini. It would be great if they did this and when back and put them on older content, it would be another reason to run older content.
One way they could fix the BoP problem with crafted legendaries would be to have an npc crafter that could assist you if your professions didn't match your armor type. It'd cost more, either in effort or gold, so that crafting profession matters some, but not so much that changing professions is required. I'm pleased with holiday-restricted xmog. I've been waiting for it a long time, I've got all these holiday pieces scattered on different toons, and I like dressing them up for holidays.
I know mail armour comes from leatherworking for years, but this, it should be from engineering, just to not have one profession be able to craft two legendaries.Solo challenge tints: Win 10 rated battlegrounds? Really, Blizzard? How about non rated BGs instead? :(
I am just shaking my head at the 10 rbg requirement for tint 3, vs the 4th which is to kill all legion dungeonbosses.
They could make the legendaries BOA. That way, at least, you can't buy and sell them, and you won't be forced to make specific characters specific professions.
250 demonsteel bars vs 250 stormscales? How is that even remotely fair?
I really hope the 10 RBG winds gets changed to something else. It is known RBGs have a very narrow appeal and making the appearance achievable only though that type of PvP content is really odd. Would be better if it is 30 wins in casual battlegrounds or something like that. It's not like getting a Kil'jaeden kill or killing all dungeon bosses seems hard, so why make the token pvp appearance so wildly out of reach.I had a little experience getting into RBG groups in Season 1 and it was always a time consuming gamble. The whole process of getting a group together can fall apart immediately when a match starts. Besides wasn't the challenging part getting the basic appearance unlocked in the first place?
I'm not too fond of the Guardian Druid's main tint; why a polar bear? Why couldn't we get the brown or tan skin as the default? At least the brown skin is stupidly easy to get; killing all the dungeon bosses will be a tedious joke.As for the legendaries, I'm rather dissatisfied with the plate one, but all of them overall. Not all classes need those stats, or have less use than the stats not present. A balanced piece with all four secondary stats would have been much better, or at least a cool on-use effect like giving every class a stealth button or a feign death button.
Haha, #$%^ you, players who picked tailor/blacksmith without the fitting armor type!*cries*
Are you serious ? 10 rbg wins and heroic kill jad really ? Do you know how hard it is to find people who are not snobs and stuck up manchild ego maniacs ingame to help with these achieves ? I seriously hope they reconsider if this was ment as "solo challenges" Its hard enough getting accepted into mythic plus as it is with all these jerks but having step into rbgs with tons of toxic people and not to mention how toxic. Pve. Is in this game tooo . I have no prob with casual bgs and if it was to kill jade in any difficulty that eount be too bad but this thats requireing ove to pvp and pvp to pve and ive had enough being forced as a ovoer to pve to be bis already like do you not learn blizzard? I dont think they want to keep subs at this point .
Also when are we going to get an xsmog sytem like swtor sure we can keep wepons transmog only to certain weapons but as far as outfits go . When are we going to be able to xmsog greys ? When are we going be able to hide gloves ? When are we going to be able to wear tshirts over chest peices like tabards do ? Tshirts dont have stats neither do tabards so why can we mog greys yet . Theres better looking greys then greens in this game its about time that they fix it up more .
Wait what, the solo challenge appearance is now requires you to complete a heroic raid and rated BG?This is not solo Blizzard. It really feels like Blizzard hates its players. So much appearance content locked behind hard content, hell Blizzard, why don't you put all new appearances behind Mythic World Firsts. Admit it, this is what you really want to do.
