It's really not even OP. It won't make hunter good by itself.
I can't tell from the notes, but did Play Movie get buffed or nerfed?
The hunter I raid with just dump damage. Why are people complaining about a lack of hunter buffs?
The bow buff is cool and will give a Hunter a little bit of a boost but the problem with hunters are their baseline abilities. They have no spread cleave and their stacked cleave is capped. Any class/spec that has that issue needs to have a strong single target damage profile to make them a viable pick in any raid scenario. MM had a nice run in Mythic+ for a few months but then were dropped back down to maybe a B or C tier. A simple 5% aura buff for MM and 7% to 10% for BM would be perfect. That away they're not OP but can compete for middle tier dmg spots.
MM and BM two of the worst dps specs in the game but blizzard have spent far, far more time "balancing" this bow (which only those two specs can use) than balancing the specs themselves, in fact outside of pvp talents they haven't touched the specs. So i guess if u want ur balance changes for 9.1 you have to get this leggo? Yea that's right, hunter balance has a legendary drop chance from the final boss of the next raid.
woooooooowww.. massive 0,5% dps buff for hunters wooowwwrip
You know...DPS are spoiled brats. I am just going to say...(taking out the freebie Legendaries - MoP: Cloaks, WoD: Rings, Legion: RNG / Trinkets, SL: Build a Leggo)Vanilla:- Tank/MDPS had a chance for Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker- MDPS has a chance for Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros- RDPS/Healers had a chance for Atiesh, Greatstaff of the GuardianTBC:- MDPS has Warglaive of Azzinoth- Hunters had Thori'dal, the Stars' FuryWotLK: - Healers: Val'anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings- MDPS: ShadowmourneCata:- RDPS: Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest- Rogues: Golad, Twilight of AspectsMoP/WoD/Legion/BfA/SL (Build a Leggo) doesn't count. What I see is that Tanks had 17 years since a targeted Legendary and Healers have had 13 years since a targeted legendary...Hunters don't need a new bow or quiver to go with it. Its kind of bull!@#$. Tanks and Healers have to watch fail dps all the time get hit by easy mechanics or die to standing in the fire. It would be nice for us Tank/Heal type folks get something (like a Trinket) that works.Like a nice concept: Tanks..."After taking X amount of Damage within XX Seconds, releases an absorb on players within 50yds for 25% of the damage taken (cannot activate more than once per 15 seconds) or enrages players within 50yds increasing their primary stat or attack power by 25% of the damage taken.Healers..."After healing X amount of missing health within XX Seconds, releases an absorb on players within 50yds for 25% of the healing done (cannot activate more than once per 15 seconds) OR inspires players within 50yds increasing their versatility by 25% of the healing received OR inspires players within 50yds causing them them self heal for 25% of the healing received."It would just be nice for Blizzard to acknowledge the two groups of players that have to keep the DPS alive....
Did you seriously just try to use targeted legendaries against Hunters, who have had only a SINGLE ONE THROUGHOUT THEIR ENTIRE LIFESPAN in TBC, and it was the most boring, uninspired, loreless bad excuse for a Legendary ever? And you thought you'd be slick by putting them in the same category as friggin' mages to make it look better? AND you neglected that healers could use Tarecgosa's Rest just fine? AND AND you decided to not even be consistent in your logic and state that Shadowmourne would be a tank weapon by your own metrics since DKs could use it?Also for the Feral player also responding, Druid's Atiesh gave over a hundred more feral attack power than their most powerful weapon.
+1. Let's take the problems that've been ruining the game for the last 8 years and just add more of them.
