Here's hoping scarlet monastery gets the same treatment as scholomance, and we get to re-visit the vanilla versions of them.
In the game files, this map is named "Scarlet Monastery - Headless Horseman Rewamp" so I think we can be pretty sure it's for the holidays refresh.

Was hoping the "holiday refreshes" weren't the bare minimum, this gives me some hope.
If it's because of skeletons on ground and people scare of them i just disappointed
Would love for the Old Scarlet Monastery wings to make a return: Graveyard, Library, Armor & Cathedral or a way for them all to be connected like a sort of raid. Give us a new and updated Dog Whistle which does not share cooldown with the other one please. : D
Definitely feels like this is just to make the holiday area not look like pure butts, but one can dream of a similar treatment to Scholomance. I bet it takes a lot of time and work to do that nicely though.
Like all life in Scarlet Monastery, it will die right after repopulating because everything there just goes to die.How many times have we wiped out that place by now? 3? 4? Seriously, all the Scarlets are good at, are being wiped out in mass numbers, yet somehow always come back.

This seems in-line with previous updates to the environment over the years north of the Plaguelands. How long has that area in the Monastery been on fire? It's about time someone called the volunteer firefighter division of the Scarlet Crusade.
