I always interact with as many doohickies as possible. Doodads, too.
Ya you're on crack if you think they would add a new spec after an expansion has already launched.
zommmmmg
That would be SUPER interesting. Immediate questions though:1. Would this count as a "healer" for the purposes of raid or M+?2. Would this then be competing in an increasingly crowded healer meta?3. How would some of the bigger abilities/cooldowns affect raid bosses and abilities? Blizzard has never been the biggest fan of stuff like Dark Simulacrum working in PvE how it does in PvP.And perhaps the most important questions of all:4. For Mythic raiding, would this be the push needed to try and increase Mythic raid groups to 25 again?
This looks interesting
So, a braindead rol? haha In a elitist game were majority demand meta and use parses to evaluate damage about some1 when is pugging, would be a good idea for those people that have short time and not be in a guild
they said no third spec on towelie's stream interview vid
A "support" or buffing rest of the team sounds okish on paper but in reality it's gonna be extremely niche if it ends up being happening to begin with. For random pugs and casuals, that make up majority of the player base, generally people want to see how much damage they are doing, how much tanky they can be and do bigger pulls and live or how much healing they can do. All of this mostly is because it shows up on the Meters. Then there's outdoor and solo content, how would that support spec perform in solo activities? Would they always have to bring a pocket DPS or tank for anything and everything?A guild/friends pre-made team where players mostly play in the same group with each other can make good use of a support spec but otherwise it's really not something everyone would want to roll one even for funs. Never say never, I don't see any spec like this appearing in WoW anytime soon, if ever.
As I remember, there are DPS that are more utility than damage, like DH on SL, they didn't had big dps, but cc and debuff is good to buff meta classes. In DF melee meta, people in high keystone is using Shaman and warrior to buff other melee. So, all of these utility is going to a one class, I don't know man, people is going to go mad, specially nostal andys that don't accept wow has to evolute, to good or bad.
I think we'll see a tbsk spec before another DPS or healing spec, as it stands devastation is already a ranged spec.
I dont believe they will add a completely new spec right in the middle of an expac. And even less so a completely new support role. This might be a a purposely laid out trail to nothingEDIT: Actually I remembered something. I believe it was datamined some time ago that Neltharion, or someone/something else removed the black magic from Evokers. Evokers are barely wielding black flight abilites, despite their roots from Neltharion.
still no mage update
This looks like scenario text ? I'm betting the spec is learned for a questline and then tossed, its not permanent.
i would love this, many mmorpgs have true support classes(not healers, but buff/debuffers, often with summons too) and i wouldl ove to see it in wow, however it would need a lot of work, and wed need more than 1 for it to actually work. as for the people saying: they said theres no 3rd spec. ion also said theres no old gods in BFA. they have kept things under wraps, and will keep doin so. And for the guy thinking theyre never going to add a new spec, just because they havnt before, doesnt mean they never will. We have seen a lot of changes and improvements in DF.
It could be something like FFXIV's dancer. On their own their DPS is the worst in the game among the damage dealers but they bring huge buffs for others to compensate
I really just hope its either a melee spec or a tank spec. I love th class itself, mostly the race, but I hate casters with a passion. I would love to be able to play my evoker and have like, legit fun because i've never been a fan of casters lol. All I can do is hope and pray
This has got to be one of the most bong rip takes Wowhead has ever posted, right?
Never gonna happen, the game is already too hard to balance with only 3 roles, imagine introducing a 4th ...
I genuinely don't understand teasing what is basically a shaman and not a tank, when I've seen nobody asking for the support spec and everybody asking for a tanking one. Devastation is already ranged DPS, I want to be a frickin' tank.
Morgan Day: "I mean we've never really added a spec so, I can't really speak to that."Did the separation of Feral into Guardian and Feral just kinda'.. blow over their head? Or the remake of Combat almost entirely into Outlaw? They technically always existed but it was a huge shift in both classes when it happened.
