Augment keep breaking the game? Cue in Perry White...InOtherNewsWaterWet.gif
looking forward to the next RWF
Is game balance still entirely out of whack? I'm so surprised. I thought for sure Blizzard had this all under control. /sarcasm off
EVERYONE and their dog saw this coming a mile away... Start by saying that I enjoy my Aug, I like the support role and it plays OK. It's just a shame blizzards are so terrible at everything but art.
ITT "People found an absurd and unintended way to abuse mechanics that literally only works on a single boss in the raid due to room size requirements, but I'm going to ignore literally all of that to complain more about a spec that doesn't really affect me because I'm not in the top 0.001% of raiders. Also, I probably didn't even read the entire post and just assume anyone can do this casually at any time and ignore all the caveats that led to thus amusing video."
I love the people *!@#ting on Aug.. Don't be jealous you can't play it, or have a pocket one. ;) It's extremely fun to play and absolutely rewarding when played well.
Once again, this is why any support class doesn't work well in a game like WoW, I guarantee their going to gut augmentation to do more damage from the actual evoker over buffing everyone else. There is simply no way augmentation is going to survive in its current state in the upcoming tier, and the vocal minority are going to scream about it too.
not an evoker issue, bad boss design issuesimple fix just, make the boss immune to damage when he is channeling that part ez
people are surprised that funny numbers are happening very late-season....this happens every single season with something...this time its because of a new spec. Idk why people make such a big fuzz around multiple copies of 1 specc being optimal for mythic raiding. remember fights like back of deathwing with 7 arcane mages in the first kill, xhul'horac requiring a rigid roster with only 2 free dps slots for immunity cheese, Im sure people who are interested in wf raiding know many more examples. class stacking has always been a thing. just nerf the number down to 3 and we're all gucci
People its a new class, it'll be op until the end of expansion. Now, will it be a dead hero class after dragonflight like the rest who knows
I don't believe WoW can be balanced around temporary low target external Buffs. PI and WF totem should be gone and the classes rebalanced. Evoker needs a rework: Make Buffs raid wide with value / raidsize, remove presidence and go from there forward.
oh boho a new class/spec is op the first patches. did you guys never played dk/monk/dh on release?
What those players dont realise is they are going the reason why augmentation is going to be nerfed every week.
Don't say that "Blizzard thought of it, but just wanted us to try and hype on these silly buffing things in raid". No, they just weren't able to get it right; if they could, they would.
I... don't know if this is actually an issue? I mean it's the same sort of thing Rextroy (apologies if the name is wrong) does to one-shot or solo stuff, just spread out over a larger group? If Aug obscenity only happens when you do that kind of weirdness then it doesn't seem like a balance issue, so much as smoothing out extreme edge cases. Talk of optimal #s of Augment evokers also kind of misses that most raid groups aren't going to be looking (or required by the game) to min-max stuff to anywhere close to that extreme. Sure, mythic raids might try to, but you can't balance stuff around what mythic raiders do because, and I mean this in the best way possible, they are nonrepresentative freaks.
Oh wow. What a suprise.... /sThat is exactly what everyone was saying is going to happen with sup specs. Either op in raids or useless.I am looking forward what blizz is going to do about this.
