tbh it felt stupid to port in and out and keep going for rares
I mean that's just shy of 3minutesit really doesn't stop multi step quests, like this week one of the weekly requires you to place 4 wards and the level doesn't increase till the 4th one is placed. there's really nothing to stop you from doing the last step at level 5, then porting back to the sanctuary then getting out of the maw
Does logging out (not exit game) also no longer reset stacks?
You 100% can still min-max the Maw. The dailies don't give you the Eye until you finish the objective. So if you have the "loot 8 weapons" quest you can loot 7 of the 8 and leave it. Then finish the quest within the limited time. Obviously this varies class by class due to mobility, survivability, etc. and how spread out the daily quests are.
Its like that zone isn't bad enough, let's make it much worse... Typical Blizzard...
Quests should simply not give threat. It's stupid. This is a bad fix.
Haha, called it! I knew Blizz would do something to axe that whole wonky min-max strat that was published a few days ago. Too convoluted and way too much for those people to gain by getting torghast nerfs and gem slots too early.
Honestly it makes sense, but my god could they at least fix the system itself at the same time. Remove jailer hate from quests all together, just makes more sense. Normalize/Increase clarity on how much hate vs rep things will give.
Today I maxed out my eye with two quests left to do. Kind of sucked and I wasn't saving any or trying to min max. At least I got one done with the debuff up but don't think I can do the perdition hold one today. I also have Rule 6 unlocked today but have to wait. I wish it was time based so I could wait an hour or two and have it be lower to try stuff again.
that kinda sucks a lot...oh btw, how about an actual buff to this effect so warlocks cant just survive it by doing nothing?
Weirdly this makes it so you dont want to the dailies as they are just less efficient than the rare/elite rares. But still more efficient than the bonus objective mobs. I really don't think not doing the dailies in the maw should be the most effective way, that just seems wrong.
why don't you, Blizzard, fix the phasing issues in the Maw? its incredibly stupid for people to port to Oribos so they can phase with the rest of the group. >.<
This is such a blizzard change ... Instead of fixing the reason people were doing it (quests giving vast amounts of Eye of the Jailer, especially the weeklies), just put an artificial barrier on it. Now everything you do in the maw will feel again, just that bit worse.
