...and again no word of when the Zandalari trolls will be unlocked. I mean, it was a feature for the start of BfA. Then it was moved - but the data is ingame.Blizz disappoints me here as a long time WoW player
Thanks Ian, I really appreciate you taking the time and initiative to address issues that many people are stressing over. I recognize the immense challenge involved in creating a world that is maintained online, has the freedom for players to do ANYTHING they can think of (literally) and still be pleasing to the majority of 10 million+ involved in this process. This is not an excuse from me for mediocrity, or to ignore the glaring issues that exist. But i recognize to achieve excellence on this kind of scale isn't easy, nor can you please everyone all the time. I like a lot of what was said, and will hold you guys to it! Meanwhile i believe the majority (like myself) are having a good time playing these past few weeks despite issues, they were sure to arise and did. These picketing, forum flaming, enraged nerds declaring the apocalypse are the minority, as much as they desperately want to believe themselves to be otherwise. What are you more likely to do, write a review for something you are spending your time doing and enjoying, or take the time to express dislike and hate for something that upsets you (The answer is obviously the latter...) Expansions generally show more of their strengths with continued content patches and expanding on what the initial launch had to bring to the table.Looking forward to what you guys bring in the future, and hope it's to the standard I've come to respect and love from Blizzard over the years.-Matt G.
This is all non-answers and the same canned replies they have given in the past. It's always the same. Pick the questions with anecdotal examples and focus on those giving philosophical answers with no actual information rather than addressing the point.
The white knights are far more detrimental to the health of the game compared to the whiners. The white knights suck up and try and down the games major issues and give the devs wrong information that could potentially hurt wow in the long run. Let people complain and discuss issues with wow.
Oh boy. If you don't like, QUIT IT! Jeez... So, That's a lot of information to process :O
Players: “There are problems.”Ion: “Yes, there are problems. We’re sorry.”This is basically the whole AMA. It’s just paraphrasing of the same thing over and over and over again. When i first saw the azerite system i though they’re gonna give us 4 traits for the spec we’re in and then change those 4 traits with our spec change. That’s what i thought we were gonna get since it could actually give us CHOICES. Something that they used as the main advertising point for azerite gear. To think that they literally doubled down on the legendary system which they themselves called a mistake is baffling. I can already see the end of Xpac Q&A with Ion, him sitting down and saying “if we could go back we wouldn’t design a system in which one item gives you an awesome trait and the other one gives you a useless one.”
Man, Reddit let Ion have it. I feel that this expansion was rushed out by some higher ups. I also feel like the majority of people feel about this expansion that it is basically Beta For Azeroth. It is not a very good expansion and reminds me of Cataclysm in the amount of content and excitement.
