Frustrating that pet spec feedback is not happening, and reduce the amount of talent nodes on BM and SV hunter so we can build our own specs
The sheer amount of feedback actioned by Blizzard on hunters alone in comparison to the droves of feedback for every other class is just asinine. I really hope Blizzard intends to put a month's worth of effort into every other class, but if they did that we won't see DragonFlight until next summer at this point.
It's always frustrating to see them balance PvE with PvP in mind and vice versa. The two should be completely on their own with balancing and classes would be in such a better position. Being afraid to buff or nerf something in PvE because you're incapable of changing the numbers when in a PvP setting is not good.
Beast Mastery needs a change so that there is more emphasis on pets less on skils, the BM from WotLK is a perfect example of how a BM should look like, the pets had their own tree, so that, you could adapt them to given situations, the pets had unique abilities depending on the species, so you had to catch many pets, now you only need one. For Blizzard to make a BM that would be interesting and not rely on shooting with a Barber Shot is too much of a challenge, because you have to put more work into it, and so you just have to do a copy-paste of what was in Shadowlands (in fact, since WoD, BM has become a regular class that shoots with a bow) and add it to Dragonflight. Zero effort but people happy because you can click more times in the talent tree.
pretty weird how shaman and hunter have constant discourse from the developers and other classes have literally nothing
I really like the communication of the hunter dev but I don't like the trees on bit. Why does a class which is around since the start has so little talents compared to all other classes, rogues has way over 40 talents ( I think 44/45), hunter 37. Same with warlock. They also get cool new stuff. MM looks like it play exactly the same in general.worst comment from today was that Survival's mastery won't be redesigned. Does the dev know that Survival hunter actually go for ZERO mastery ? that's how bad it is
I don't play Hunter at all but I love that Hunters are getting so much communication and iteration, it's fantastic and it's the level of interaction that we should be receiving, but it feels like a kick in the guts when many of the other classes that have garbage trees have been left in the dust with no information on if, when, or what will be fixed, if at all.How are people finding out who their class dev is? The Mage community has collectively agreed all the Mage trees are garbage yet about 3 weeks have passed with not a single word or change.
Meanwhile Priests got nothing since the "Power Word: Update" two weeks ago, and the Shadow tree is even in a worst state than the hunters.
