"For the first week of Season 2 (July 6th), item levels from end-of-dungeon rewards will be capped at 229."A paltry attempt to make it harder for the Mythic World first Race, theyll do 40 split runs either way.
I love how some people just try and make up excuses to complain about something. It's fine like this.
Remember what *!@#fest EN was when they didn't cap it?
What's coming in Shadowlands season 2 for Mythic Plus: a compulsion to raid in order to acquire Domination gear, without which you'll be a cripple compared to people who do raid & have said Domination gear.
I know some people want to just log into 9.1 and be done with gearing for the whole of the patch in just a single weekend, but I would kinda like sources of gear from the large % of the game below Mythic Raiding, 2.1k+ Arena, and the Weekly Vault to be relevant for more than a single reset. As much as I love M+ as an activity, I ran over 240 dungeons in 9.0, it really does pose a challenge for design when you have an inexhaustible source of gear only one tier below the very best in the entire game. The capping of end of dungeon rewards to the +10 level for a single week doesn't extend the life of the gearing process by much but it helps in that at least some of the game's many sources of gear don't end up as useless as Korthia's loot was for most players after just a single weekend.
are the people that are complaining about domination gear the same people that wanted tier sets? just curious...
Does this mean this week all I have to do to get the “max” reward is a bunch of +5 dungeons?
Does this mean that Conduits from M+ are going to be 226 ilvl from M+8 and up?
This is my first time seeing an x.1 patch and an M+ season change, just following on from the comments above, would someone mind explaining the reasoning behind capping end of run results at +10? I'm not complaining about it, just curious as to why.
