So my question is, what is exactly the Frostmourne do? Because the concept before was that it eats souls and they get trapped into the sword like Terennas was. Now it's kinda weird because Uther still went to the afterlife but was affected by the sword somehow, I wonder if this will be explained.
14th pannel. Thats Robin Williams.
Wait so both Arthas and Garrosh don't belong in the Maw but Sylvanas did? What in the hell? How? Prior to her suicide in the WotLK she did nothing that crazy unless I'm forgetting something. Torture and experiments with the Blight right? Way lesser evil than Arthas or Garrosh ones. This had to be Jailers work to bring her there, otherwise it's just utter nonsense. Also if Arthas and Garrosh don't deserve the Maw then who does? How evil are we speaking about. I guess that's why Jailer was so weak and decided to "rig the game".
"Moments after Sylvanas passed away into a comforting darkness, she felt agony unlike any she had ever known. Arthas ripped her soul back into the world and Sylvanas Windrunner became the first of the high elven banshees. "taken from WoWWikiI think it's important to remember in Sylvanas' case, Arthas prevented her soul from passing and turned her into a Banshee
this short makes sense partially. it shows that fragment of uther's soul was captured in Frostmourne and explains how Jaina and/or Sylvanas saw him in Halls of Reflection.but it makes now sense how we see him in Uther's Tombbtw. Shadowlands makes no explanation how spirits get back in body of Undeads via necromancy. we can assume that Necromancy is much stronger and keeps souls from getting to afterlifealso how do certain persons see spirits?or what are specters and souls that haunt mortal world? Zin-Azshari and Azsuna for exampleand why doesnot Arbiter and co do anything when Odyn stsrted Valarjar project?it was hinted that MuehZala allowed Odyn to ferry souls so Cycle of life and death would break
First I read the release date, HYPED, then I watched the animated trailer. Now even just a month seems long.. OMG can't wait!
The shadowlands isn't heaven or hell. You aren't being judged morally, BUT the amount of evil one does stains the soul. Garrosh maybe did some evil awful things, but his soul wasn't completely devoid of anything salvageable. Just because Uther did it, doesn't mean Arthas wasn't meant for the maw. Sylvanas' soul was absorbed fully by frostmourne. There would have to be a mountain of effort to keep her out of the maw. This is assuming the arbiter was totally broken at that time. The arbiter probably had saved a large amount of power over a loooong period of time to keep Vol'jin out of the maw.
I'm just gonna say it. I wish I had a Kyrian GF now.
I am really happy that they've nailed what retribution is. I saw a lot of people on YT complain that he's lying to himself and wanted revenge, but that's not at all what I saw. He was clearly angry about Arthas's evil deeds, but not just because he was a victim of those deeds. For once, Blizzard made a character say something that we can take at face value. Uther said it wasn't revenge, and it wasn't.Blizzard did a good job with this one.
Now I'm wondering how, exactly, Shadowmourne was created, and by whom?
This really doesn't portrait Bastion in a good light. But it is a nice introduction of the plot of the Bastion. Looking forward to playing that!
