I think the greyed out faction emblems on our char select screen is a sign that we'll pick our factions. That way you don't have to balance the racials, cause all races can be all sides. :p
Expansion speculation is all well and good but don't burn yourselves out before its even released, expect to farm Nyalotha for at least a year before we even get a release date.
I honestly hope that there isn't any more choosing sides like there was with Sylvanas and Saurfang. Although it was healthy for the story it wasn't very fun to have to choose 3 different chars to focus on just so i could get every side of the story. That's what i liked about Legion, I could play how i wanted, when i wanted. Battle for Azeroth on the other hand seems to be trying to force my hand into playing the game. Also, I know I'm gonna get alot of negativity out of this post but I'm just voicing my opinion.
Tyrande sounds like Maiev. Except Tyrande sees an entire faction as evil regardless if they committed evil. As the saying goes "justice is blind". Well, its supposed to. And it seems her quest for revenge is also blind until a specific forsaken is dead at her feet.
We've been through the faction devides once. We'll never get through it again; faction splinters are no longer important
Night Elves could be them finding a new home to settle, likely Nordrassil according to Tyrande returning to its boughs.I just *REALLY* hope that Orc and Human heritage is not yet another Guard/Grunt set.Speaking of faction divides, I think they will make the forces of Light vs Dark instead of Horde and Alliance next.
All of this!
I personally hope that Calia will become Horde leader . Making Forsaken switch to Alliance would be disrespectful. Also I feel like some people forget that Calia getting resed was a "miracle" it took Archbishop Faol Anduin and a Naaru. It's not like Alliance/Light suddenly can start making their own "Light Undead" in large numbers. If Calia wants to lead "her people" then she needs to do it where it's their home, and for the past couple of years Forsaken's home was in Horde.
For some (many) of us, speculation is part of the fun. Stop being a killjoy!
I would love new factions if they choose so something like sylvanas faction vs the remaining.Current Horde vs Alliance, then group up against - insert random villain- is just a repeat.
What I wanna see is guilds can flag themselves as cross faction if they wish to be and recruit from either side. If both sides can raid together if they so choose then it will stop the wave of people going horde and likely some will switch back to alliance now that they have the same opportunities regardless of faction.Nothing Blizzard can do can otherwise fix the inbalance and the simple fact that more and more people who want to raid will just go Horde because horde just has more serious raiders and more raiding guilds.
Panda's don't need heritage armor, they have an entire expansion of heritage armor that still looks just as good as anything else being put out in recent xpacs. As vain a hope it is, I want to see a third faction if the Horde and Alliance factions become blurred. It will never happen but I want Blizz to keep going with the Sylvanas Loyalist arc and just full on let players be part of her faction, just make it so they are in World PvP mode for the most part, maybe some disguise on a cooldown to allow them to go into the main cities long enough to not get totally shafted out of banks and the like. Or hell just let them reclaim the undercity, Blight effect doesn't go down that far if I recall. Will never happen, but man do I want it.
I confess, I've totally got my hopes up about faction eradication (or whatever you wanna call it). It would inject so much new life into the game.
