it still sucks
While Beguiling isn't nearly as rough as I first imagined it would be (so far in my experience at least) this is a great change to the toughest part of this affix. I think this largely solves some of the problems the add has.
me likey
Beguiling is still terrible and the most anti-fun mechanic I could have ever imagined.
I hate having to use my brain while playing this game, so I need to spam dungeons as much as possible now and memorize the new pulls. This is a good change and, as mentioned, it should make new, easier strategies an option.
so what you are saying is i can now line of site it and just die on my way back. Blizz missed the mark big time with this part of the affix and it is easy to see it in the numbers available alone. But why bother using player feedback in the forums...
I think this is a good fix. You still have to play around with different pulls and approach stuff differently which makes the dungeons less repetitive, but it's less punishing if you screw up on lower keys while still being deadly on higher keys in combination with the mob packs they're in. I have good hopes that, with different positions every week, this affix can keep Mythic+ fresh and challenging.
Wait, so triple-rogue is 100% still going to be meta now? Feinting 2 casts then cloaking to drop stacks? All while blowing up big trash packs with outlaw AoE?I was under the impression that the point of the void emissaries was to prioritize single target DPS...
That's interesting. I thought they were intentionally a total pain in the butt to encourage players to skip them and take a different route through the dungeon. But I guess not?
Still an awful affix. Reaping was amazing, probably the most fun I've had with Mythic+ since it started. Still doesn't seem as god awful as Infesting, at least.
what you talking about whatz gonna be the meta are unholy dk with the best aoe dps in the game and 11 sec ams totally ignoring mechanics
That's a shame, as that design goal could have been compelling, forcing players to change things up, approach dungeons differently. Instead they were just overtuned mobs. Womp, womp.
yeah, placed to force people away from those routes, like you know, getting to a boss without skipping over a 3 times hot-fixed invis wall, and dont forget half the boss room is in range of pulling that void. lel.
Its just infested 2.0 ^&*! affix that is just a forced slow mode.
There's still 2 placed in unavoidable places, like in Shrine before the last boss, theres literally no way to kill it, you can get 2-3 spells off before you need to get into water and then theres the one on the bridge with no place to los it, forcing players to death skip the bridge, apart from the void touched emissary rest was fine, but this really looks like blizzard tried to design something nice and ^&*!ed it up with a one single piece of crap
