"The developers are aware of the faction imbalance in hardcore raid guilds and have ideas on how to tackle the problem, but nothing to share quite yet."If every race in the Alliance didn't look like tall, short, shorter, or fat humans then people might want to play them.
"The developers are aware of the faction imbalance in hardcore raid guilds and have ideas on how to tackle the problem, but nothing to share quite yet."I can't possibly think of any solution that doesn't mechanically soften the faction wall...And that excites me!
"The story leading up to 8.0 will have more of the blanks filled in. Blizzard wants to "end up in a place where the Horde can make an argument that the Alliance started it and vice versa, as is the lead of all conflicts." Travis feels Sylvanas is not evil--she is aggressive and is trying to defend her people."I could make the same exact argument for Garrosh.Garrosh placed his people and their defence above the Horde itself. If Sylvanas does the same.. um.. so what? Why the hell do I want to follow her?For what reason does the Horde at large compromise it's own interests and future to bolster and protect the Forsaken? For what reason do they forsake their integrity, their honour and their credibility to spread blight and undeath?Blizzard, I know you may have forgotten this in your blind lust for your waifu Sylvanas, but here's one very simple fact:THE FORSAKEN ARE NOT THE HORDE. Just as the Horde does not exist solely to promote the interests of the Orcs, it also does not exist solely to promote the interests of the Forsaken. This isn't even getting into the fact that the only thing Sylvanas has demonstrated she cares about in both the game and the books is HERSELF and her own immortality; the Forsaken exist as a buffer between her and the numerous enemies SHE CHOOSES to make.I am sick and tired of an entire faction being bent and twisted into a pretzel to accomodate this horrible, EVIL character and her ways.Instead of TELLING Horde players that their warchief is worthy, ACTUALLY MAKE HER SO or REPLACE HER WITH SOMEONE WHO IS.Oh btw..Arthas: Rise of the Lich King page 246:"Excitement began to stir in Sylvanas, and she graced the apothecary with a rare and still beautiful smile. “That pleases me greatly,” she said. The undead doctor fairly quivered in delight. He beckoned to his assistant Keever, a Forsaken whose brain had obviously been damaged by his first death and who muttered to himself in the third person as he removed two test subjects. One was a human woman, who was apparently not so lost in fear and despair as not to start weeping silently when Keever dragged her from her cage. The Forsaken male, however, was utterly impassive and stood quietly. Sylvanas eyed him.“Criminal?”“Of course, my lady.” She wondered if it were true. But in the end, it didn’t matter. He would serve the Forsaken, even so. The human girl was on her knees. Keever stooped down, yanked her head up by her hair, and when she opened her mouth to cry out in pain, he poured a cup of something down her throat and covered her mouth, forcing her to swallow.Sylvanas watched while she struggled. Beside her, the Forsaken male accepted the cup that Faranell offered without protest, draining it dry.It happened quickly. The human girl soon stopped struggling, her body tensing, and then going into paroxysms. Keever let her go, watching almost curiously as blood began to stream from her mouth, nose, eyes, and ears. Sylvanas turned her gaze to the Forsaken. He still regarded her steadily, silently. She began to frown.“Perhaps this is not as effective as your—”The Forsaken shuddered. He struggled to stand erect for a moment longer, but his rapidly weakening body betrayed him and he stumbled, falling hard. Everyone stepped back. Sylvanas watched raptly, her lips parted in excitement.“The same strain?” she asked Faranell. The human female whimpered once and then was still, her eyes open. The alchemist nodded happily.“Indeed it is,” he said. “As you can imagine, we are quite—”The undead spasmed, his skin breaking open in spots and weeping black ichor, and then he, too, was still.“—pleased with the results.”“Indeed,” Sylvanas said. She was hard put to conceal her own elation; “pleased” was a pale word indeed. "Tell me again how Sylvanas isn't evil, Blizzard. Go on. If you actually knew anything about the character other than her prominant breasts, that is.
Ooh more mount collecting! I just got Lord of the Reins this month. I’m glad they’re bringing a new one! :D
Remember before WOD Blizzard talked about stats on gear changing based on your spec to reduce gear in your inventory? What happened with that?I also remember playing scenarios in MOP and having to leave them sometimes when players left, though I am hopeful that won't be an issue as players are replaced during Legion Assaults.
So who else is excited about Weather 2.0? Yeah, not me either. I'd be just as happy to once again be able to just turn off weather easily.
Oh FFS everybody, move on with the Feral/Guardian skins questions! They will work. Act like Blizz is gonna make you do all BFA raid bosses on Mythic+ to unlock them. They will work! Jesus Christ........
They should do more Mage Tower challenges, even if they were less diverse, it's something people talk a lot about and spend a lot of time on.
Weather 2.0? Rain? Snow? Fog? Please?
New weather system, that's awesome, and seemingly such a simple thing. This sounds amazing. I hope they finally do darker nights.
unless they give mages a heal wheres all this self healing at...
They seem to be rehashing old mistakes again. Warlords was very grindy, which we didnt like in vanilla/bc. Now they want us to have multiple gear sets again. No one liked getting resist gear, and hybrids always had to have 3-4 sets availble. Just let us have one set of gear, with maybe weapons/trinkets different.
