So no classic locations update? That means Night Elves will live on a streets of Stormwind, and will suffer that humiliation for ever!
...did they just confirm in a implication way that N'zoth is still alive, and he planned all along to be defeated?
RemovedRP realms experienced huge drops in subs, especially at the beginning of this expansion. Far, far more than was normal. If they think the story of BfA is beyond criticism, they aren't speaking for the players who care about it most.
I really enjoy their ideas and that they see when they do stuff in a wrong way or not to its fullest potential, really really happy about this Interview... great answers and great depthed into how the Historians think and look ahead into the future.Got Great Vibes from this Interview, really good work!As they say, I hope they use more time into showing players the Lore and the ideas for most characters, Secrets are fun and all, but if you just Hide every deep Lore behind Youtubers, it gets kinda hard for the common people to find stuff out.So my hopes for the future is to have more: 1. Scenariouses (Like in pandaria, but they will be there only to inform the Lore to players, so Raiders and people who are not interested, dont need to do them)2. More Lorewalkers Explanins ingame events with their mist magic, just Like Lorewalker cho in Pandaria.3. Remove LFR and make a Story mode (Or just ad a story mode and keep LFR), where we as players can do the raid and get deep Lore about bosses and raid events, with no Loot, just for people to get the story (Since doing the same raid on 10 chracters with LFR.... just makes people get board and start to hate that raid)4. Make many Side quest chains that are just there to explain Lore and story about the expansion, with close to no True Reward but the Lore and getting to know stuff (Since people who like the Lore are not craving to get anything but that... and people that just want rewards, dont want the Lore, so in the end its a WIN WIN) ^^PS: as I said before, I think we are in for a great future and it looks amazing how the Core Lore people with in warcraft have seen that BFA had some mistakes and that they will getting better at doing Lore stuff in the future.PPS: something I also belive is to include the LORE BOOKS, into the game (they Lore and how it goes are allready written) so why not just make it happen also ingame, leaving people the choise to do it ingame or have a book to read.... the Core thing behind an MMORPG is to give its playres Choises, not forcing its players to do stuff they dont want to.Great stuff is about to happen to World of Warcraft!WOLF! out!
Just sounds like a lot of hand washing away of their failure to be cohesive or engaging in either storytelling or gameplay.
"Of all the things to complain about, the wide-reaching story within the World of Warcraft isn't one of them." Speak for yourselves. The trash writing, specifically, removing Sylvanas as Warchief after selling us a lie with the bfa cinematic trailer, and the destruction of 15 years of Forsaken narrative, is exactly why I quit and will never be coming back unless these gets rectified. I imagine Night Elf fans feel very similar as well. Don't give these people a pass for their horrible writing and disregard for already existing narratives.
This is lacking some meta knowledge. The Forsaken were originally the Scourge. I mean the playable faction was going to straight up be the Scourge. The “just trying to survive” Metzen version of the Forsaken have a lot of holdovers from that.(It helps to remember that WC3 and Vanilla were worked on at the same time, which is why there’s some disconnect)The Forsaken in Burning Crusade are, arguably, the “true” Vanilla Forsaken in a sense, because of that.
