Pretty portal room they put in, funny how it made the mages forget how to portal you to places. I'd gladly watch the portal rooms go for a mage sitting real nice and close to an auctioneer with a portal and a list of places to go. I never really used Crater, Hellfire, or Wyrmrest but shame on those mages for forgetting the spell. Rip Vale you will be missed.
I'm not typically one to whine about Blizzard decisions...however dumb they may be.But this? This was dumb as hell. In an expansion that has suffered a considerable content draught (or at least, a total lack of interesting or worthwhile content), old content has been the go-to for many players, myself included. BfA was great conceptually, but once you've completed the storylines and war campaign, the dailies get old...quick. Warfronts are meh. Island expeditions are dull. I know, I'm whining. Old content has been a go diversion...once you're OP for the last expansion's content at max level, it's fun as hell to go back and stomp through it. Even more fun to one-man march through those raids from 2 or 3 expansions back. But now "to make the world seem big" they remove all those portals? Sorry Blizz, but you guys are morons...and this is coming from someone who rarely complains about some of the lousy crud that gets pulled. Making old content, which sustains a lot of players and gives the game extended life DIFFICULT, or at least time consuming to access? That doesn't make the world feel big...it makes playing feel like a chore. You're bringing out Classic WoW...so leave the old school time & travel grinds to that. Since the decision to make old content harder to reach I've considered unsubbing...simply because current content is just lacking and I'm sick of the WQs and Warfronts, and now old content that I would normally enjoy is...not difficult, but annoying and time consuming to get to. Bad move Blizz. Bad move.
