.... "thicc" is not a real word, it's a meme. The Kul'tiran female models are fat, simple as that. You can try and avoid that by using "thicc" but it doesn't change the fact that they are fat, moreso that the male models. Yes there is muscle on the models, but the issue is that it's not visible enough so the model just looks chubby :/Now sure, there may be a justification for Kul'tiran humans to being fatter than normal, and that's completely fine. It's an artistic and lore choice, and it's cool. The problem many people are having, is that while the male models at least clearly have muscle on them and therefore do look more the part, the female models are just... fat. There is no proper visible muscle on em, and that's what many people hope Blizzard will change. Add more muscle to the females and reduce the chubbiness a bit. Give them clearly visible muscle rather than a belly and the models would be awesome. The bellies (on both models imo) make no sense at the amount they are currently at. And people like to bring up bodymen... well if you actually look at pictures of bodymen, there is less belly fat. Their guts don't protrude out that much. And if you look at strongmen women, they have even less of a belly than the men do. It's all about the muscle. Not saying they don't have fat on em as they do.You know what would be a good example to use for kul'tiran females? Zarya from overwatch, just base the models off of hers. THAT is the perfect kul'tiran female model~ and also, being fat is not okay, I'm seeing so many people say "thicc" and act like being this fat = normal real world humans and is all cool. That's completely wrong, being fat is NEVER healthy... you will never find a medical reason as to why fat is good for you.... and pointing that out is not "body shaming" or w/e -_-
Let me sum up my feelings about Kul Tirans. Overall I'm glad that they are our next allied race; from the screenshots of their zones I've seen I can tell that I'm gonna love Kul Tiras. They were a part of the Alliance so it's good they will rejoin us. I love the fact that they're gonna have druids (it was confirmed right?), their forms look stunning! (wish the Worgen had something more like this, something dark and quite gloomy) However, their appearence...while the males look somewhat "battle hardened" with their barely visible muscles, the females look just chubby. I'm not saying they should look like bodybuilders or whatever, but they don't really look like tough fighters. I do agree that it's good to have something different - getting really tired of those perfectly slim chicks - BUT having the exact opposite isn't the best solution in my opinion. (voidox summed it up pretty well)I love the females' hairstyles. They are absolutely more beautiful even than void elves', imo. But I dislike their faces. They all have big, chubby cheeks, and to me they all look the same...sure, two have scars, some wrinkles. But those "tough" looking faces don't match the bodies.I just wish we had an option to choose a different body type for them. Come on, not all inhabitants of Kul Tiras are "battle hardened tough sailors and fighters", they do have some kind of variety in appearence. And keeping in mind how orcs are being given a straight back, I could actually see a different body available for Kul Tirans. I'd even take a slightly changed Stormwind human model (using KT skin colours/hairstyles, maybe a bit thinner?). Not a new model, just another recolour, so no need to create new animations. Profit!
So many people here upset that the Kul Tiran women aren't hourglasses like the other races. Variety of designs and options are far more important than your feelings.
